03/02/2012 - Aberdeen East End v Dufftown - Match Postponed

Saturday's PMAC Group North Region Division One match between Aberdeen East End and Dufftown has been postponed.

Freezing temperatures during the week in Aberdeen meant that the New Advocates Park pitch failed this evening's inspection.

No new date has yet been arranged for this match to be played on.



28/01/2012 - Islavale v Dufftown - Match Postponed

Today's PMAC Group North Region Division One match between Islavale and Dufftown has been postponed.

Freezing temperatures overnight in Keith meant that the Simpson Park pitch failed this morning's inspection.

No new date has yet been arranged for this match to be played on.



20/01/2012 - Dufftown V Bridge of Don Thistle - Match Postponed

Tomorrow's North Region Division One match between Dufftown and Bridge of Don Thistle has been postponed.

Heavy snow and freezing temperatures over the last two days in Dufftown meant that the Westburn pitch failed this morning's inspection.

No new date has yet been arranged for this match to be played on.



13/01/2012 - Defender McDonald Completes Broons Switch

Dufftown defender Blair McDonald has completed his move to local side The Broons.

The 20 year old, who has made 16 appearances for Dufftown this season, has joined the local amateur side who are believed to be keen on joining the Moray District Welfare Football Association in time for the new Welfare season to start.

Meanwhile Dufftown manager Paul Lamberton has released Andrew Ross, Kelvin Main and James Grant after the three players indicated that they no longer wished to play for the club.

Everyone at Dufftown Football Club would like to thank Blair, Andrew, Kelvin and James for their service to the club and wish them the best of luck in their future footballing careers.

22/12/2011 - Defender McDonald Transfer Listed By Dufftown

Dufftown have today made defender Blair McDonald available for transfer.  The 20 year old who made his debut for Dufftown back in 2009 and was the club's young player of the year at the end of his first full season has made 70 appearances scoring just the one goal.

Dufftown manager Paul Lamberton said:  'Blair has asked to leave the club which I am disappointed about.  I've always said though that I only want players at Dufftown who are committed to playing for the club so I've agreed to Blair's request by placing him on the transfer list.'

Today's match between Lossiemouth United and Dufftown has been postponed shortly before the scheduled 1.30pm kick off time due to the Lossiemouth Playing Field pitch becoming unplayable.


17/12/2011 - Lossiemouth United v Dufftown - Game On
Today's match between Lossiemouth United and Dufftown goes ahead as planned. An early morning inspection of the Lossiemouth Playing Field has found the pitch to be playable and so the game will kick off at 1.30pm.


14/12/2011 - Seven Sign New Deals/Two Departures At Dufftown

Dufftown have been boosted by the news that 7 players have signed contract extensions.

Stuart Lamberton, Lee McGregor, Mark McManus, Scott Riddoch, Alan Shearer and Gary Simpson have all signed new two year contracts with the club while Callum McIntosh has extended his contract by a further one year.

Dufftown manager Paul Lamberton was understandably pleased to have tied up the future of so many players and said: 'I'm delighted that these players have agreed to extend their contracts.  I know that there was interest in several of them from other teams so it is pleasing that they share my belief that they would be best served remaining at Dufftown'

Meanwhile two players on the way out at Dufftown are strikers Ryan Dyer and Kris Geddes who have both been released from their contracts.  Paul Lamberton said: 'Both lads approached me and asked to be released from their contracts which I have agreed to do.  I would like to thank them both for their efforts at Dufftown during their time here and wish them the best of luck in the future.'

10/12/2011 - Fraserburgh United v Dufftown - Match Postponed
Today's PMAC Group First Division match between Fraserburgh United and Dufftown has been postponed. Heavy rain and snow in the Fraserburgh area this week has meant that the College Park pitch failed an early morning inspection. No new date has been set for this match to be played on.
